Woodpecker Heating, Cooling & Fireplaces has been operating on the Mornington Peninsula and throughout Greater Melbourne, specialising in supply, installation and servicing for 30 Years.  We are highly regarded within the industry and still growing !!

We are looking for professional and enthusiastic Mechanical Plumbers to work in customers’ homes focusing on servicing/installing Wood and Gas log fireplaces, Gas ducted units and/or split systems.  Experience with all other heating and cooling systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities may include:

• Installation/servicing of wood, gas and log fires, ducted heating units and Split systems.
• Provide a high level of customer service and interaction
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Completion of paperwork and invoicing
• Site Estimates and liaising with the office for quote completion.

About you :

• Mechanical plumbing qualifications
• Or a License or registration in Gas Services Type A, Solid Fuel Heaters an advantage, Type B advantageous but not required or
• Disconnect/reconnect certificate would be an advantage
• Other plumbing tickets would be great
• Must have Current Driver’s license & WHS Construction Induction Card
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers
• Ability to complete paperwork correctly and on time
• Technical ability to read electrical, mechanical instructions and plans
• Hands-on approach and problem-solving
• Punctual, well presented with excellent communication skills
• Experienced in general fault-finding
